The area:
Entre Azur et Maures is a friendly, relaxed family run guesthouse located near (1,5km) the picturesque village of La Garde Freinet, mid way between Nice and Marseille, in one of Southern France most sought-after areas, only minutes away from the mediterranean see and glamourous Saint-Tropez. Nestling amid forests of cork-oak and chestnut, the village has a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars. Market twice a week. (wednesday, sunday).
The villa: designed by french architect Maurice Sauzet, home is conveniently located on a 2500 sqm garden planted with olive and fig trees, lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus and laurels. The architect’s « inside-out » unique concept allows for a quite osmotic relationship with the natural surroundings and lets you fully enjoy like never before the turn of the seasons, and that very special light that inspired so many artists like Cezannes.
Here chic styling, harmony, unique architecture and blissful views make for the perfect place to relax.
The rooms
Entre Azur et Maures offers three comfortable and tastefully decorated bedrooms with stylish natural colours, all include a shower&toilet en-suite dressed in tadelakt, double bed (160x200), tea and coffee making facilities and a private entrance and terrace, overlooking delightful views and sunsets.

From Marseille or Aix-en-Provence: take the A8/E80 and follow the signs to Nice
From Nice airport: take the A8/E80,
From Toulon: take the A57, exit13
- then take the A57, follow the sign Le Luc/Toulon/Hyeres/La Garde-Freinet, after 1km take exit13, join the DN7, then the D558, follow the sign Cogolin/Saint-tropez/La Garde Freinet. Just before leaving la Garde-Freinet, turn left D75, signposted Plan de la Tour. After approx. 1,3 km, turn left, into Chemin du Curnier (wooden signpost).
Nearest Airports: Marseille Provence (1h30), Nice (1h15), Toulon/Hyeres (1h)
By train: Saint-Raphaël, bus connections.
